Private - 3rd Yorkers - Ulster Regt. - Fort Ti - 17 September 1775

The 3rd. Yorkers, also called, the "Ulster Regiment" was one of four regiments raised in New York early in 1775 and brigaded under General Montgomery for his attack to the north. This regiment was particulary well clothed and equipped. The Private shown in this pictureis in full marching order. The Captain and the Sergeant are in parade uniform.
